Yep, you read that right — The View.
What strikes me about this interview, more than anything, is how much McCain reminds me of Bush. He doesn’t seem to be capable of giving intelligent, well-articulated answers to any of the questions, instead mumbling and tossing off stock phrases that, from all appearances, he learned in a talking-points memo. Most tellingly, when asked about the separation of church and state, he gives a non-answer, meandering into a disquisition how he prays every day and how God has a plan for this very special nation (and needless to say, he mentions, a propos of nothing, that he was a POW).
Very, very scary to think that this man could be elected.
