This video is pretty astonishing for a couple of reasons, first of which is that Patrick Buchanan, a conservative Catholic, denies the doctrine of Papal infallibility, apparently without realizing that he’s done so; and second of which is the extent to which Lawrence O’Donnell stomps on him and reduces him to a sputtering mess. The video is a little long, so if you’re not in the mood to watch the whole thing, skip to around 3:30 — it’s worth watching in its entirety from there.
